Nauset Beach with its miles of white sand is on the Atlantic Ocean. It is only 1.5 miles away from us.

Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay has warmer, calmer waters and is ideal for children and people who would rather not deal with ocean waves. Sunsets are spectacular from this vantage point.

Pilgrim Lake, Herring Brook Rd., a freshwater pond is handicapped accessible and offers lifeguards, restrooms, picnic tables and a launching area for small boats.

Rock Harbor is one of Orlean’s main attractions. Visit the harbor when the fleet comes in with the day’s catch or at dusk to watch the sunset over the bay.

Cape Cod National Seashore offers dunes constantly reshaped by storm and wind, marshland, glacial cliffs and dense forests.
