BOATING AND FISHING

The ponds, bays, river, cove and marshes offer numerous and varied places to be explored in kayaks, rowboats, sailboats and small powerboats.

Freshwater fishing is excellent. Crystal Lake and Baners Pond are stocked with trout.

Orleans’ Rock Harbor has one of the largest saltwater sport fishing charter fleets on Cape Cod.

Shell fishing is a pleasant way to enjoy the shore. Soft-shelled clams, quahogs, razor clams and mussels are all beneath the sand waiting to be discovered.
