GOLF The Captains Golf Course located in Brewster is the closest public golf course facility. Their Staff includes PGA professionals available for lessons and clinics. They also feature a fully stocked Pro Shop as well as full restaurant. 508-896-1716 The Port Course is more challenging. Par 72, Slope 131, Rating 72.1. The course has two kettle ponds that guard greens and a stretch of new holes 12-17 that are among the best around. The Starboard Course Par 72, Slope 122, Rating 71.5 is a more comfortable course to play and favored by most who have played Captains since its origin. Because of its ease Starboard is preferred more by those with higher handicaps.
